GM Diet: We did It!
So It's official Kimberly and I completed the 7 day detox and between the both of us we have lost 20 POUNDS!!!! We are super excited, we were able to make it through the detox and proved that we have willpower. So before I talk about our win for the week here's the rest of the outline for the last three days.
Day Five: Beef and tomatoes- add an additional 12 ounces of water
Day Six: Beef and vegetables all day
Day Seven: Brown Rice and Vegetables all day
I must say that this was a great detox I was able to eat and be full and although the detox is restrictive I never felt deprived. I thought that Sunday night I would find myself at the nearest Dunkin Donuts or McDonalds trying to make up for lost time, but surprisingly I have not had the urge to overindulge which is great. It has only been one day off of the detox but I can already feel a difference. I think that that I have truly learned the difference between being legitimately hungry and having the desire to eat. Kimberly and I both plan to incorporate some aspects of the detox in our daily routine, especially with drinking water and incorporating more fruit in our day.
I am so proud of us, we can finally say that we stuck to something and it worked.

You're an inspiration!
How much of each food were you allowed each day? I'm interested in giving this a try!
ReplyDeleteNicole - We were allowed unlimited amounts of any of the foods that were listed for those days except for on Day Four where you will eat as many as eight bananas and drink three glasses of milk. And on Day Five where you limit your beef intake to two 10 oz. portions of lean beef.
ReplyDeleteI looked on your blog for your email, but couldn't find it. :( If you email me, I can send you the full breakdown. :)
