Week 4 Independence Day Challenge

So we are one week closer to the ending of the Independence Day Challenge. Here are this past weeks Highs and Lows:

This Week's Highs
So this past week I weighed myself and I lost another 1.5 pounds. I still haven't reached a two pound weight loss, but I am really happy that the scale is continuing to go down. This week I definitely drank more water and I have actually been eating dinner (minus the one day that I ate cheerios for dinner). The absolute high of the week was at my friend's baby shower, I received so many compliments on my outfit and everyone said that it looked like I was losing weight. At this point I feel like everyone is noticing the change except me. But hey as long as someone notices I am fine!

This Week's Lows
This past week I only went to the gym 3 times, I was planning on going to the gym 5 times a week. I know that the 3 times are better than none, but I really need to step it up and workout consistently and hit the goal of 5 solid workouts a week.
This week I plan to reach my 5 workouts for the week. I will definitely let you guys know if I make it. I also plan on eating more fruits and vegetables, at this point I just need to go grocery shopping and stock up. So far I am pretty satisfied with my results. I am losing slow and steady but technically the best way to lose weight is slowly so that the weight stays off.

How is everyone doing with the challenge?

    1. Thanks so much Faith!!!! Although you may have gained at least it was only 1.9 instead of 5! I am sure you will be back to losing in no time. I struggle with the poor eating choices too, but normally I try and kill myself in the gym so it doesn't end up being so bad.

  2. I am doing good. I have slacked a little bit with being consistant with my food. I will be back to my structed diet on Monday. The past two weeks have been a little crazy. I missed 4 days of workouts last week due to not feeling well but I am okay now. I will miss somedays this week as well due to my daughter school Disney trip but I will be walking alot Friday and Saturday so that will make up for the gym. :)

Slow and steady wins the race. Fitness is a marathon not a sprint. :)

    1. I think we all struggle with eating. But good luck, as long as you get back to it! It is true slow and steady wins the race :)
