The challenge is moving on whether I'm ready or not! Here's my update!
The week's highs!
I lost 1lb! Finally a loss! I have really been working on my eating habits these past two weeks. Given that I gained one of the weeks, I know my behind needs to make a change to my eating. Reggie, my trainers, always tells me that my problems never are my workouts, because I kill myself at the gym. My problem is my eating. I am slowly learning and finally believing that no matter how hard I work out, I cannot eat whatever I like.
The week's lows!
Not sure if you noticed, but I missed my week 3 update. The reason I missed it is because I pulled a muscle in my back. Last week, I was on bed rest for the better part of the week, and I am still not feeling up to par. I tried to test out getting back into the workout routine this week, and it was an epic fail. I felt worse than I did the day that I pulled the muscle. Therefore, slow and steady is the way to go with this injury. However, this may just be a blessing in disguise to help me work on my eating. If I cannot work out than I MUST stay on top of my eating. No excuses.
For now, I think I will cut back on my carb intake. I know that my body always responds will to this. I will be focusing on my fruits, veggies, and proteins.
Hope ya'll are doing well with the challenge!
Sorry to hear about your back. I agree take time to heal and focus on your eating. Congrats on your weight loss. :0) Good job.
