#50in52 Week 8

I am so so so SO pumped from my workouts the past two weeks. In Week 6 & 7 I didn't weight in due to the storm... and I knew I have gained about 3lbs. I honestly went up to 183 and was too ashamed to say anything here because I knew why. I was not working right and I was not eating right. Period. We lost all of the food in our fridge during the storm so healthy eating was hard to come by. BUT the past 2 weeks... I have been on it.

So my last weigh in was Week 5: 179.4 (-0.6), and last week my weigh in would have been Week 7: 183 (+3.6) if I had the balls to post it. My week 8 weigh in is as follows

Week 8: 179.2 (-3.8)

I was able to lose all of the weight I gained during the storm PLUS .2lbs. Sounds great to me. Every Wednesday when I weigh in, I have been telling myself that it is the last time I will see that number any time soon. It may just be possible for me to be under 170 by Christmas! I would be so excited and proud that I would be able to lose weight during the season where most people gain weight.

    i've kinda been slacking since i got back from my Vegas vacation and gained 5 lbs ... i really need to get back on the train. i'm hoping that next week i get serious again ... i need to.

  2. Congratulations on your weight loss! It's hard to stay on track when people are throwing food at you all holiday season. After a while they will see the choices you're making and start to understand.
