Today has been a very good day. Although I skipped my morning exercise and hit the snooze button, I woke up refreshed and ready to take on the world! So I figured what better way to share my happiness than write a quick post. From reading all of these weight loss blogs and motivation pieces I began to take a look at my life and I have realized that I am in a really good place. I may not be where I would like to be but I know that I am well on my way and that gives me a sense of peace, well at least for the moment.
I think that everyone should do a quick checklist of their life! Sometimes you may think that you have hit rock bottom when you are actually not doing too bad. Whenever I am in a crabby mood I try to think of how many people have so much more stress and have it so much worse than me, and then I think of how I could have ended up in a totally different place in my life.
So amongst everything that is going on in my life I am REALLY happy, is everything perfect?, NO, but I can honestly say that I am content. Although there are a lot of things that I could complain about and things that I would love to change,the good STILL outweighs the bad.
Finding happiness nowadays can be hard, between the rising gas prices and food prices, budgeting, staying in touch with people, working on your career, making time for yourself, losing/maintaining your weight, living healthy, and just living this crazy thing call life, being truly happy is HARD!!! There is so much going on in the world and in your own personal life, finding true happiness can seem impossible, but it's not. Look at it this way, waking up every morning is a blessing and shouldn't be taken for granted.
So I leave with you this, "Don't worry be Happy." Things may not always go your way but remember it will always get better, find what truly makes you happy and never forget it!
