Why can't I lose weight?
- I have eliminated carbs from one of my meals a day.
- I only drink water and tea. No sugary drinks.
- I don't eat sweets or overly salty foods.
- When I do eat "junk" food I only eat the portion size or less.
- My calorie ranges stays between 1200-1700 per day and at my age, weight, ect I am supposed to be able to eat up to 1900 calories and still lose weight.
Has that happened, you ask?
No.
I woke up today and hoped on the scale and literally felt sick to my stomach. I came to work and started researching HCG drops.Something needs to change in my life.
Depressed, maybe?
Sad, yes?
What am I going to do?
I don't know, I will figure it out. Eventually.
Everything you're doing now is a step in the right direction and towards a healthier you- don't lose hope! Let me know what you find out about those HCG drops, I've heard you can only eat like 500 calories a day on them.
ReplyDeletei think you are moving in the right direction. i agree with the above poster. do not lose hope. continue doing what you are doing, the weight will fall off. we're on this journey with you.
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies. I appreciate that. Today was such a yucky day.
ReplyDeleteCaviar: Yes, you only eat a 500 calorie diet and when you Google the drops, the first things that come up are articles from CNN and other credited sources about them being illegal and soooo bad for you. But there was a deal on Lifebooker... and I was feeling desperate today.
Just keep at it...How long have you changed your diet? Do you religiously track? Everything you eat. How much exercise are you doing? You don't want to drop down your calories too much beyond what you should eat for your height/weight/age/activity level.
ReplyDeleteBe cool, be persistent, and know you're fine regardless
ReplyDeleteMs. bad: I was totally on top of it since April but this month, after the detox when I lost 10lbs, I will say I've gotten discouraged. I'm going to try my best to get back on track. When I was on top of it, I wasn't losing and I was getting frustrated and the detox was faaaar from maintainable.
ReplyDeleteDr Lil: you always know how to make me smile. I am super self conscious about posting my actual weight on here now since you know it's me for sure. Lol
