BUT
I realized that I do lots of research on weight loss techniques, tips and tricks, the success and pitfalls of other people but I haven't really gotten to know what works for my body. The most success that I had was during the detox when I eliminated carbs for the most part. So, before I run gung-ho into the my newest research-promised regime, I want to do research on what I have done and why it has worked or has not worked. Leading up to the new year, you will see a few posts about my current habits with insight and facts/myths about why they would have worked or would not have worked.
I am also hoping to create a challenge to bring in the new year that will last 60 - 90 days. I always get super excited on January 1st, but then by the 31st, I can barely remember my resolutions. 60 - 90 days is enough to create a solid, life-changing regime. Hopefully a few of you... or all will join me. No matter what your goal is, the challenge will be there for support and accountability.
I'll keep you posted!

ReplyDeleteThat is so good to here! I am feeling the same. In 2011, I feel like I finally got to a place in my career where I am happy and can see myself staying put for awhile SO now it is my time to focus on my health and overall wellness.
ReplyDeleteInteresting...another blogger I follow was saying something along those lines...she realizen that she needed to really figure out what works best for her so she can lose the weight. I do think there is a balance we each have to figure...what we will/won't eat, how we will/wont workout, etc...
